These instructions are for the 12XTS and 16XTS
Bowling's Last Stand Models.  You  will need help
with this size of tree and stand.

There should be 9 parts to your stand.  The main bowl, 4 T-handles,
and 4 legs.

Tools necessary:  1/2" drill bit and drill, 3/4" open end wrench.

The easiest way to put up your tree in our 12'' or 16'' Christmas Tree
Stand is to drill a 3/4'' diameter hole approximately 2 inches deep in
the bottom center of the tree trunk.  Lay the tree down on it's side,
flat, lay the bowl of the stand on its side, place the bowl of the stand
on the tree trunk, make sure that the lag bolt in the bottom of the
stand is inserted into the whole that you drilled in the trunk of the
tree.  Tighten the 4 T-handles.  Install 2 legs on the stand with the
legs sticking up, do not use them as levers.  Stand the tree upright,
insert the other 2 legs.  Tighten the 4 bolts on the legs.  Tighten the
T-handles that secure the tree and you should be all set.  You should
arrange your decorations evenly all the way around the tree to keep
the tree balanced.

Just a little bit of information for any size tree...
Don't sharpen the tree like a pencil and stuff it in the stand! The tree won't drink
the water.  You need a straight cut on the bottom of the trunk.  The tree sucks
water up just like a straw.  If you cut the bark at an angle you will lose the natural
drinking effect of the tree, thus, dehydrating the tree more quickly.
No matter which size stand you choose, leave enough room in the
stand for the tree trunk and plenty of water.
