 Well Built and Sturdy

This stand is VERY sturdy and works great for tall trees. The 4 legs (removable for storage), have a 6' span which provided the necessary broad base of support to provide tipping. The large reservoir holds a generous amount of water, and the bolts held the tree securely. We kind of choked at the price of this stand as we consider it to be very expensive, but since we just bought a house with 25' ceilings we're looking at it as an investment, allowing us to have beautiful tall Christmas trees that aren't going to tip over.

 works like a charm

For years, we've struggled to get our 16' tree up and steady. We've usually had to tie it off to the bannister to insure that it didn't fall down. Yes, this stand is expensive. But it got the tree up this year first time with no problems and no need to tie it off. Yeah!

 Tough.

Verified Purchase

Took a while to come ( thanks fedex) but this thing is Brute, cant bust it if you tried. Dont lose the legs, other than that, it's like they say. Last one you'll ever buy.

 Out-STAND-ing!!!!!!!!

Well worth the money! We had a 16’+ tree this year and it was rock steady in this stand.

Very sturdy and very safe...we highly recommend this stand to the Clark W. Griswolds of the world

The Stability is Fantastic

Definitely install the "bowl" while the tree is ... I have had this stand for about 3 years and have had trees up to 17 feet in it. The stability is fantastic. Definitely install the "bowl" while the tree is on the ground so you can get the hole in the tree drilled and get the bowl nicely centered and the clamps tight. Then get the tree upright and add the 4 extensions and tighten them down. Once it is up you can adjust the "straightness" of the tree by loosening and tightening the 4 clamps until you get it exactly where you want it. Expensive but worth it.

 Amazing quality!

It held our 16-17ft tree no problem!

This tree stand is amazing!!!! We have battled with stands in the past that would not hold our 16-17ft trees without having to use a strap to tie it to the wall. This year all we needed was this stand!

Last stand you will ever buy

Bowlings Last Stand. And they mean it. It weighs like 70 pounds. I put a 15 ft Frasier in it every year with a huge trunk and it stands straight up with out being tied and no worries of it ever tipping over. Holds 4 gallons of water! I bought this at a local tree farm for $150 because I was desperate for a stand to put this ginormous tree I just bought. Glad I did, huge investment but no longer have to worry if my tree will fall over. Go to their website

The best tree stand there is.

This stand is well thought out, very strong and safe. Consider this stand an investment, it is worth it. Year after year when I put the tree up using this stand I am always very happy that I made the investment. If you have big Christmas trees you need this stand. You won't regret it.

Quality tree stand for large trees

After our 14' tree broke 2 stands, we thought a long term investment in a quality tree stand was necessary. Although the price is outside the range of what we had expected to spend ($350 compared to the $30 stands that broke which is the reason for only 4 stars and not 5), the stand was large enough for the 10" diameter trunk and still held 4 gallons of water (which needed to be refilled only once a day instead of 3 times a day.) The stand is solid and heavy duty and we definitely felt no risk of the tree falling over at any time during the holidays. Certainly would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a tree in the 15' range.

 Great purchase

Great stability for our almost 16 foot tree! We're loving this purchase even though it was expensive! After having some trees fall over after decorated we're excited to have a new stand with such stability

 secure tree stand

If you are looking for a safe and sturdy Christmas tree stand, I would recommend this one. I have owned many tree stands that had to be replaced because of various reasons. My next tree will be 20 feet tall and on my deck...and I know it will do the job of holding up a big, heavy tree.
